Senior Supply Chain Coordinator (12 Month FTC)

The Role:

 

The purpose of the role as Senior Supply Chain Coordinator is to support the UK Logistics Team in their responsibility for operational, financial and continuous improvement. You will interact with all levels of the business, including 3PL’s, customers and vendors and will co-operate with the UK Supply Chain Manager, providing cover when necessary.

 

Your Impact:

 

  • Day to Day 3PL Warehousing Management: Support all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that inbound and outbound are controlled and managed to KPIs Develop good working relationships with Customer Service teams for the territories to ensure positive ongoing partnerships.
  • Support control the invoicing and supervise the accuracy of billing and timeliness of payment authorisation.
  • Compile, collate and review a wide range of reports and feedback on a regular basis to use this information as the basis to support strategic review of both current statuses and long-term improvement.
  • Work cross functionally, both internally and externally, to identify opportunities that will improve the Distribution ad Transport function and lead to gains in efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist the Customs Team with any queries related to the Bonded process (HTS codes, prices, reporting)

Who You Are:

 

  • Detail-oriented with a flexible attitude to supporting the whole of the operations team
  • An enthusiasm for technology and understanding of root cause identification
  • Excellent, self-guided thinker, capable of establishing trust to achieve goals

We would Love to Hear from People with:

 

  • Knowledge and understanding of SLA and KPI structure
  • Ability to develop great relationships with various stakeholders internally and externally
  • Skilled with using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience in a forwarding, logistics or supply chain organisation
  • Experience in using Oracle software systems
