Tina Brown is a writer and the former editor-in-chief of Tatler, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker. She was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen forher services to journalism in 2000, and inducted into the Magazine Editors' Hall of Fame in 2007. In 2008, Brown launched and edited the digital news site The Daily Beast, which won the news website of the year award in 2012 and 2013.
For a decade she organised and hosted Women in the World, with summits in New York, London and Delhi, and smaller salons throughout North America. In 2017 The Vanity Fair Diaries, her account of her editorship of Vanity Fair, was chosen as one of the best books of the year by a number of publications, In October 2024, Brown Launched a weekly Substack newsletter, “Fresh Hell:Tina Brown’s Diary.”
