Sally Singer
President of Art and Commerce, WME
The Vogue's former creative director and long-time staffer oversaw the launch of Voguerunway.com.

Sally Singer currently serves as the president of Art and Commerce at WME. Before joining, she had a long history of working in magazines; her early career saw her work at British Vogue and the London Review of Books. After moving to New York City, Singer spent eleven years at American Vogue, initially joining in 1999 as fashion news director, before overseeing both fashion news coverage and feature stories as fashion features director. After 11 years at American Vogue, Singer spent two years as editor-in-chief of T: The New York Times Style Magazine from 2010 — 2012, before returning to the publication at which she has spent the majority of her career.
Appointed as digital creative director in October 2012, Singer was instrumental in harnessing the potential of American Vogue’s digital platform Vogue.com, revamping the site to make it an extension of the brand, rather than a digital copy of the print issue. Singer commissioned shoots produced specifically for the website, increased the pace of online news coverage and commissioned fashion films.
Singer is particularly celebrated for her promotion of film on vogue.com. Her first curated film series was inspired by the Met Ball and Costume Exhibit’s theme “Punk: Chaos to Couture”, and featured films by Mary Nighy, Cass Bird and Quentin Jones — whose film starred Cara Delevingne . In 2019, Singer was promoted to the creative director of American Vogue, and has hosted the annual pre-Met Gala party for the 2019 Camp themed iteration.
She joined Amazon in 2020, after over seven years in her role as creative director at Vogue. She was then promoted to head up fashion direction at the e-commerce giant.
In September 2023, Singer was named the president of Art and Commerce at WME. WME Fashion’s portfolio includes Art + Commerce, IMG Models, IMG Fashion Events and Properties as well as The Wall Group.
Singer lives with her husband and children in an apartment in the Manhattan’s Chelsea Hotel — a destination famous for its eccentric, artistic and diverse inhabitants.
