Saager Dilawri and Karyna Schultz

Saager Dilawri and Karyna Zepick are the co-founders of Neighbour, one of the most thoughtfully curated independent retail destinations in North America. Since launching Neighbour Men’s in 2011 and its womenswear counterpart in 2015, the duo has redefined the modern retail landscape in Vancouver with a minimalist design ethos, deep reverence for global craftsmanship and narrative-driven fashion.

Located in the city’s Gastown district, Neighbour is a cultural hub where fashion, art and publishing converge. Saager, a graduate of Parsons, leads menswear buying, spotlighting brands like Auralee, Evan Kinori, Comoli, MAN-TLE and Bunney. Karyna curates women’s fashion and accessories with the same understated sensibility. Profiled in publications like Monocle, Sharp Magazine, Magasin and Montecristo, Neighbour has earned a reputation as one of the world’s best independent stores, known for championing emerging designers and artisan-led labels.

In 2019, the duo expanded their vision with Neighbour / Objects, a dedicated shop for home goods, books and lifestyle design, further integrating their curatorial approach into interiors and contemporary culture. Events such as in-store exhibitions and artist collaborations establish Neighbour as a place where commerce and creativity coalesce.
