Patrick Chalhoub is group president of Chalhoub Group, a Dubai-based luxury goods retailer and distributor which was set up by his father Michel in 1955. The group is the regional distribution and joint venture partner for hundreds of global fashion, luxury and beauty brands including Versace, Jimmy Choo, Jacquemus and several LVMH brands.
Chalhoub has reinforced the group’s distribution and marketing services with a portfolio of eight owned brands including multi-brand accessories boutique Level Shoes, luxury department store Tryano and Faces, an upmarket multi-brand beauty chain with over 80 stores across 12 countries. Born in the Damascus, Syria, Chalhoub lived in the Lebanese capital Beirut and Kuwait before relocating to Dubai, UAE in the early 1990s. Initially joining the group in 1979, Patrick was appointed co-chief executive officer alongside his late brother Anthony in 2001. Under their stewardship, the family-run company secured joint ventures with several major luxury brands across the luxury fashion, accessories, watches, jewellery, eyewear and art de vivre categories. In 2023, Chalhoub was awarded with the highest state order of Lebanon, the National Order of the Cedar. The French government awarded him with the medal of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite, and the honour of Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur since January 2018.
