Ozlem Sahin Ertas

Ozlem Sahin Ertas leads Istanbul-based Think Fashion Group, is organiser of the travelling runway and trade show event Modest Fashion Weeks and operator of sourcing company TurkishMade. Her work in the modest fashion space began in 2013 when she co-directed a groundbreaking online hijab fashion show. The reception pushed her to co-realise Modest Fashion Week in Istanbul in 2016, an event that has since touched down in Dubai, Amsterdam, Riyadh, London and Jakarta. 

Through the event, Sahin Ertas helps broker business relationships between designers, retailers, press, influencers and clients to better integrate the global modest fashion industry. She has secured top hijab-wearing models and influencers for brands at her showcase and forged a sense of community among modest fashion consumer spectators around the world. Prior to her work at Think Fashion Group, the serial entrepreneur founded a fashion label and a fashion e-commerce platform. She has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Dokuz Eylul University, studied styling at the Istanbul Moda Akademisi and completed the visionary leadership programme at the European School of Economics in Italy.
