Olivier Lalanne is the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar France and former editor-in-chief of GQ France and editor-in-chief of Vogue Homme.

Lalanne is the inaugural editor-in-chief of the new Hearst publication, which launched in March 2023. “It is with great enthusiasm that I aspire to register [the publication], with audacity and creativity, in an era particularly rich in changes and mutations,” Lalanne said upon his appointment.

Prior to joining GQ France in July 2020, Lalanne served as the deputy editor of Vogue Paris since 2006. In his previous role as editor-in-chief of Vogue Homme, he also managed the men’s division, newly created by Condé Nast France to boost its male audience.

Lalanne studied contemporary history at Université Paris Sorbonne before joining Condé Nast in 1995, initially serving as a reporter, cinema critic and fashion journalist.
