Russian street style star Olga Karput is the founder of Moscow concept store and café Kuznetsky Most 20 (KM20), which is known for mixing international fashion labels like Maison Margiela , Vetements and JW Anderson with home-grown designers like Gosha Rubchinskiy and Tigran Avetisyan.

Karput opened her store at the age of 25, in 2009, backed by investment from her husband, a Korean businessman with whom she has three children. One of the first concept fashion retail spaces in Moscow, KM20 is known for bringing emerging labels like JW Anderson , Raf Simons , Lemaire, Marques’Almeida and Yeezy into Russia.

Sales have increased 20 percent year-on-year since its inception and, in 2017, the multi-brand boutique moved into a four-storey building that, at 2,500 square metres, is six times bigger than its original store. “We’ve been growing quite fast for the past few years [and] realised that we couldn’t squeeze in everything we wanted to buy,” Karput told BoF. The new space is located in Moscow’s popular Stoleshnikov shopping district.
