Natsai Audrey Chieza is the founder of Faber Futures, a biodesign consultancy and creative research lab working with living systems to build sustainable futures. With a background in architecture and material futures, Chieza has been an early pioneer in the application of critical design thinking to biodesign, spending the past eight years developing novel methods to biofabricate materials. She is catalysing the alignment of DNA-scale engineering with the methods and principles of critical design thinking to create meaningful value in a circular bioeconomy.
