Nana Komatsu is a Japanese actress and model who celebrated 10 years as a Chanel house ambassador in 2025. She has represented the brand globally through shows, events and campaigns, and locally through initiatives like the Kyoto high jewellery showcase. Komatsu’s enigmatic style — often a blend of romantic, graceful, gothic, edgy and androgynous — has cemented her status as a fashion icon in Japan and across Asia. By 2025, she had amassed more than 3 million Instagram followers and appeared on the covers of the Japanese editions of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Spur as well as Vogue Taiwan and L’Officiel Malaysia. She has also modelled in a Gentle Monster campaign.

Born in 1996, Komatsu began modelling at age 12 and made her acting debut in the 2014 film “The World of Kanako,” which earned her a Japan Academy Film Prize accolade at age 19. Since then, she has taken on diverse roles, from romantic leads in films like “Drowning Love” to a supporting part in Martin Scorsese’s “Silence”. Her ability to portray a wide range of characters, combined with a striking on-screen presence, has secured her reputation as a sought-after talent.
