Meryll Rogge

Creative Director, Marni; Founder & Creative Director, Meryll Rogge

The ANDAM Prize winner and newly appointed creative director of Marni has established herself in fashion through her eponymous label’s unexpected contrasts and storytelling.

Meryll Rogge

Meryll Rogge is the creative director of Marni, and founder of her namesake, Belgium-based brand. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (2008), Rogge launched her label in 2020, and has quickly established herself as one of contemporary fashion’s most compelling voices, known for its creative weaving of structure, fluidity and personal storytelling.

Rogge was tapped to lead Marni as creative director in 2025. Before striking out on her own, Rogge worked at Marc Jacobs and as head of womenswear at Dries Van Noten. Both experiences shaped her approach to expressive tailoring and subversive femininity. Since debuting on the Paris Fashion Week calendar in Spring 2022, Rogge’s collections have been praised for their daring contrasts: her Autumn/Winter 2025 blended angular cuts with unexpected softness, while her Spring/Summer 2025 wedding-themed collection mixed traditional bridalwear with a gender-fluid, upcycled lens.

In 2024, Rogge became the first woman to win designer of the year at the Belgian Fashion Awards. She was a semi-finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2022, shortlisted for the Woolmark Prize, and in 2025, won the 2025 ANDAM Grand Prize — receiving €300,000 and mentorship to accelerate her brand’s global reach. Rogge is stocked by retailers including SSENSE, Dover Street Market, Net-A-Porter and Harvey Nichols.
