Golsorkhi set out as a photographer and later music and advertising director, until starting Tank magazine in 1998. Alongside Tank, Golsorkhi worked as a consulting art-director for fragrance and fashion brands, notably for Christian La Croix, Swarovski and Levi’s among others. He also founded O magazine, a supplement to the Observer between 2002 and 2010. Golsorkhi has been an honorary professor at Central St Martins and spoken at numerous conferences and festivals, including the photography festival at Arles. As a writer he has contributed to the Guardian and Observer on topics of fashion, film and politics.
