Everywhere Lucky Blue Smith goes, legions of fans follow. The male model, who has been likened to both River Phoenix and a young Brad Pitt, has quickly become a  teen sensation, with an large Instagram following and a consistently trending hashtag to his name. Fronting Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2015 campaigns abruptly propelled Smith’s into the fashion spotlight, and his career trajectory has continued to rise ever since. The platinum-blonde has walked for the likes of Tom Ford , Versace, DSquared2, Jeremy Scott, Moschino and Balmain.

Raised in a small Mormon town in Utah, Smith’s modelling career began on a family vacation to California taken in order to introduce his sister Daisy to Next model management. Smith and his three sisters all attended the meeting and were all signed the same day to Next LA. By the following weekend, Smith was shooting with Hedi Slimane for Vogue Hommes Japan.

By the time he was 15, Smith had two strong campaigns under his belt for Gap and Levi’s, the latter featuring him playing the drums in front of America’s iconic Hollywood sign. After his agency suggested he ‘edged up’ his look a year later, Smith’s career truly took off leading him to walk for a large number of brands including Dunhill, Tom Ford, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo and Sacai for Autumn/Winter 2015. He has also starred in Calvin Klein ’s CK One fragrance campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti. Today, Smith has walked international catwalks for Kith, Armani, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbanna and more, has been featured in magazines including multiple editions of Vogue, V Man, GQ and Harper’s Bazaar, and has regularly modelled alongside his IMG-signed sister Pyper.

Smith has become known for his dedication to communicating with fans, frequently posting his whereabouts and interacting with them on Instagram. He is extensively plugged in to social media and is particularly popular in China, largely as a result of his agency Next, which has developed his presence on social media platforms such as Weibo and WeChat.

In 2018, Smith was a nominee for the GQ International Man of Style award, partly recognised for his widely publicised journey as a father to Gravity Blue Smith who was born in July 2017.
