Lucien Pagès
Founder, Lucien Pagès
The French communications expert leads his eponymous global agency, working with brands spanning fashion, beauty, lifestyle, art and design.

Lucien Pagès is the founder of his namesake communications agency, one of the world’s most acclaimed fashion PR companies, with outposts in New York, Paris and London. The agency has over 150 clients across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, art and design, and in December 2024 joined The Independents, the leading global collective of creative partners in brand experience, strategy, design, and production.
Along with clients such as Calvin Klein, Jacquemus, JW Anderson, Sacai, Schiaparelli,Versace, and Victoria Beckham, Lucien Pagès Communication also represents beauty brands such as Byredo, Diptyque and Maison Francis Kurkdjian, and cultural institutions including the Grand Dîner du Louvre, and le Dîner des Amis du Centre Pompidou, Art Basel and Paris Photo. In 2025 the agency began working with the Brazilian luxury conglomerate JHSF.
Originally from a small village in the Cévennes region of France, Lucien moved to Paris at 18 to pursue his dream of working in fashion. A graduate of the prestigious École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, he began his career aspiring to be a designer, securing formative internships at the studios of Yves Saint Laurent, under Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior under Gianfranco Ferré. After realizing his talents lay elsewhere, he pivoted to pursue opportunities in public relations and founded his namesake agency in 2006. Often referred to as “the PR prince of Paris”, Lucien sees himself first and foremost as an attaché de presse— the connector between designers, brands, media and global audiences.
Noted for having a keen eye for talented young labels, Lucien is celebrated for his support of emerging and independent designers, which he considers the foundational DNA of the agency. He is credited as an instrumental figure in raising the profile of numerous brands viewing his role as a powerful facilitator who can connect emerging creators with the right people to help them succeed. These include Coperni, Duran Lantink, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Rachel Scott, and Torishéju Dumi.
Lucien was nominated to the Order of Arts and Letters in 2025, in recognition of his contributions to French cultural life and the international visibility of contemporary fashion.
