Lilian Pacce
Publisher and Curator
The prolific Brazilian fashion journalist earned her degrees in London and now helms a lifestyle and fashion blog.

Having honed her craft in London during the 90s, Lilian Pacce returned to her native Brazil to work as a fashion journalist. Pacce's return to her native country was contemporaneous with its emergence as a key fashion market, Pacce swiftly positioned herself as one of a select group of in-the-know commentators on the Brazilian fashion market and the country’s homegrown talent.
The journalist has leveraged her popularity and loyal readership into her own eponymous digital publication (2008-2023) and the weekly TV show GNT Fashion (Globo Network Television, 2000-2018). The fashion-focused lifestyle destination collates key trends, covers international fashion events and provides Pacce with a platform for her insightful, intelligent and entertaining commentary.
Now based in London, she curates art and fashion exhibitions such as 'Arte na Moda' at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (2024) and 'Brazil Creating Fashion for Tomorrow' (2023 and 2024) at the Brazilian Embassy in London.
Pacce’s journalistic career began writing for the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, where she created and edited the weekly fashion pages of Ilustrada and Revista da Folha until 1992. From 1996 to 2015, she was the fashion critic for O Estado de São Paulo newspaper. She also contributed to Vogue Brazil, Elle, Big, and Daslu. Pacce has won the country’s best fashion journalist award nine times (1998, 2000, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022).
Pacce is the author of several books including: "The Bikini Made in Brazil”, "Around the Fashion World – Designers, Brands and Models” (foreword by Vivienne Westwood), "Ecobags – Fashion and Environment”, and “Herchcovitch; Alexandre”.
Pacce was a lecturer in fashion history and fashion journalism at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas University and at the Luxury FAAP MBA. The journalist learnt her craft in London, attending both London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins.
In 2021, Pacce joined the International Board of Swimwear History in the BikiniART Museum Foundation. She has also been a member of the jury at Prêmio Muda Vogue (Muda Vogue Award for Sustainability) in 2019 and in the following year was a Together Band Ambassador for the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
