Li Yuchun
Singer
One of China's biggest stars, the musician has signed deals with Coca-Cola, L'Oréal and starred in a Givenchy campaign.

Li Yuchun, also known as Chris Lee, is a Chinese singer, actress and fashion muse. She starred in Givenchy’s Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign by Riccardo Tisci , alongside industry icons and models of the moment including Donatella Versace , Candice Swanepoel, Frankie Rayder and Stella Lucia. The campaign, shot by Mert and Marcus, was styled by fashion editor Carine Roitfeld .
Lee, who began her career at a music conservatory, shot to fame when she participated in the Chinese Super Girl singing contest, which she went on to win. Her fame rose rapidly in China, garnering Lee a loyal fanbase who were intrigued by Lee’s uniform of loose jeans and button-down shirts, with no make-up and a boyish haircut.
Lee went on to gain worldwide recognition when she was announced as the winner of the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Worldwide Act. This award cemented Lee’s role in the industry. Lee began attending fashion shows for luxury brands including Chanel and Balenciaga, following this award. Her success has drawn a significant amount of interest from the commercial world, signing deals with the likes of Coca-Cola and L’Oreal Paris.
Most recently, Lee attended the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival where she was pictured in a complete look from Jean Paul Gaultier ’s Spring 2015 Couture collection. Gaultier has also designed concert looks for the performer and Karl Lagerfeld has shot her for The Little Black Jacket book. Today, in Asia, anything the Chinese singer, actress and fashion muse Li Yuchun wears sells out immediately.
