Founding her first agency aged 26, Leila Fataar has worked in cultural branding for over 20 years. Her latest venture, Platform13, uses her unique experience in creative entrepreneurship, and the cultural and corporate sectors, combined with her global network to create and maintain cultural relevance for brands. Platform 13 acts as a freelance network of creative pioneers from the worlds of fashion, music, art, design, sports, food and drink. After 10 years running her first agency, Fataar took the helm as global director of social and PR for adidas Originals in 2012. Her first project, the global re-release of Stan Smith, was a great success and the following three years with the company saw her launch a number of high-profile releases including Superstar and collaborations with names such as Farm, Palace and Nigo.
