Tasked with elevating player style and expanding the league’s cultural reach, Smith is reshaping how the American football league engages with fashion-conscious audiences, one tunnel fit at a time.

Smith began his fashion career under celebrity stylist Karla Welch and later worked at Amiri before joining the NFL in 2019 as a wardrobe assistant. His deep understanding of both luxury fashion and sports culture quickly set him apart. Since then, he has styled marquee players like Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson, guiding them through high-profile appearances including Vogue World 2025 and redefining pre-game “tunnel walks” as moments of self-expression and personal branding.

From curating the red carpet at Super Bowl LIX to producing GQ’s "Mini Super Bowl Fashion Show" in New Orleans, Smith is embedding fashion directly into the league’s marketing playbook. He also oversees the official NFL Style Instagram and works closely with athletes to develop distinct fashion narratives that resonate across social platforms.
