Khaby Lame

Content Creator

The Senegalese-born, Italy-based social media creator is TikTok’s most followed star and the linchpin of Boss’ Gen-Z communications strategy.

Khaby Lame

Khaby Lame is TikTok’s undisputed king. The Senegalese-born, Italy-based creator has nearly 150 million followers on the platform — more than any other user. His loyal fan base is hooked on his humorous videos, which often poke fun at other TikTok content. His initial rise to social media stardom was propelled by “duets” commenting on videos depicting excessively complicated “life hacks.”

Lame is  making a name for himself in the fashion industry, too. Earlier this year, he released a capsule collection with Boss, the first in a multi-year deal that will see Lame star in Boss campaigns and release further collections. In September 2021, he walked in the brand’s show at Milan Fashion Week.

It’s quite a shift from life pre-pandemic, when Lame was working in a factory in Turin, Italy. A job he lost when shutdowns were first put into place. The sudden increase in free time is what first led him to post videos on TikTok.
