Ibby Njoya
Spatial & Set Designer, Njoya Studios
The Cameroonian-British spatial and set designer creates colour-saturated, narrative-led environments that bridge fine art, performance and editorial storytelling.

Ibby Njoya is a British-Cameroonian set and spatial designer, artist and founder of London-based Njoya Studios. He is known for his vivid, painterly approach to designing sets and creating immersive, emotionally resonant visual worlds.
Njoya studied illustration at Arts University Bournemouth after attending the BRIT School. His formal training informs the layered, cinematic nature of his spatial compositions. With his multidisciplinary team at Njoya Studios, he has produced set designs for editorial shoots, campaigns and installations defined by a bold use of colour and delicately choreographed sense of movement and emotion.
Njoya has conceived sets for global fashion clients such as Dior, Chanel, Hermès, Dries Van Noten and Off-White, collaborating with leading photographers including Paolo Roversi and Rafael Pavarotti. His editorial work has spanned Vogue, Dazed, AnOther and Acne Paper, with his fantastical environments adding a distinct visual identity to fashion narratives. Beyond fashion, Njoya's large-scale installation work includes the 2024 “Theory of Colour” project for Jaguar at Miami Art Week, merging spatial design with light and sound. Njoya represents a new generation of creatives reshaping visual culture through an interdisciplinary lens.
