His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche

His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist lama and the lineage holder of the Shangpa Kagyu tradition. In 1992, he was recognised as a reincarnate lama by H.H. the Dalai Lama when he was two years old. In 2004, he entered into a solitary retreat in the Himalayas, which he completed in 2008. Today, that transcendent discipline is channeled into a uniquely contemporary life. Having spent the last 17 years in the West, His Eminence is a cultural architect who bridges worlds.
