Hatulia Avsadzhanashvili
Founder, Boygar’s
The Georgian retailer opened a sleek multi-brand store selling the largest selection of luxury brands in the country.

Hatulia Avsadzhanashvili is the veteran retailer behind Boygar’s, a multi-brand store opened in February 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In less than a year, Boygar’s had become a local landmark and an emporium selling the largest selection of luxury brands in the country including Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jacquemus, Khaite, Loewe, Amina Muaddi, Prada, Valentino and Saint Laurent.
Previously, Avsadzhanashvili led the multi-brand luxury retailer Babochka in St Petersburg, Russia. Ending her operational involvement in 2021, she returned to her home country a year later. In Russia, she was feted as one of the most influential figures in the luxury industry. Under her management, Babochka's stores became known for their curation of high-end European brands, emerging talents and Russian designers.
Founded in 1988, the family-run fashion retail group paved the way for retail development in Russia’s second largest city, where the growing shopping district once started to rival Moscow’s. Beginning with a single multi-brand boutique, the business grew to several branches and a network of joint ventures operating mono-brand stores for brands like Lanvin, Fendi and Valentino. In 2012, she opened the concept store Nevsky 152 on Nevsky Prospect.
Since 2024, Avsadzhanashvili has been focused on helping the bourgeoning Georgian fashion industry to grow and advance, refocusing her energies on the Caucasus region. “We consider our mission in Georgia now, to develop the fashion retail market here,” she said.
