Harry Nuriev is the founder and creative director of Crosby Studios, a New York and Paris-based interior architecture and design studio. His innovative approach to design fuses art, architecture, fashion and interior design, challenging traditional boundaries and transforming everyday objects into extraordinary statements about contemporary society.
Nuriev's creative collaborations with leading fashion brands and artists, including Balenciaga, Nike, Dover Street Market , OMA, Liam Gillick and Valentino attest to his influence and reach.
Born in 1984, Nuriev's journey into the world of design began with his education in architecture. His creative practice now spans a broad range, from immersive environments and virtual installations to public spaces and object design. Nuriev's work is guided by 'Transformism,' a movement he coined that prioritises transformation and transformative experiences. His designs often take people out of their comfort zones, encouraging them to engage with the world in new and unexpected ways.
T, The New York Times magazine has hailed him as a pioneering voice in global minimalism, acknowledging the instinctive influence of craft and architecture on his designs. He has lectured at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Pratt and the Royal College of Art in London, sharing his insights and passion for design.
