Ekow Barnes

Richmond Ekow Barnes is a culture writer and a creative producer. Following an early career in PR and communications in Accra, Ghana, Barnes went on to write about Ghanaian art, culture and lifestyle for international publications including Vogue Italia,Vogue Business, Dazed, i-D and GQ. In 2022, Barnes co-founded WB Group, a production company promoting creative talent from across Africa through collaborations with international brands.The group’s most recent campaign was for the launch of the New Balance Sadio Maneboots for AFCON 2022.
