The pop sensation has become synonymous with bold looks from Versace and Mugler on social media, on stage and beyond.

Dua Lipa is a musician known for her elaborate on-stage ensembles, and collaborations with Versace, Mugler and Puma.
The London-born songstress has risen to pop stardom thanks to tunes like “Levitating,” “Don’t Start Now” and “Cold Heart,” a collaboration with Elton John. In tandem, she’s earned attention in fashion, too, launching collaborations with the likes of Versace and Mulger, and serving as a brand ambassador for Puma. She’s also gained attention for her elaborate on-stage ensembles.
Born in London in 1995, Lipa was raised between the UK and Kosovo, her parents’ home country. In 2013, while working as a cocktail bar waitress, she signed with Tap Music Management, eventually signing with Warner Bros. Records a year later. In 2015, she released her first single, “New Love,” and two years later, in 2017, she dropped her self-titled debut album. Her rise in music has been a steady climb since. Songs like “Don’t Start Now” and “One Kiss,” a collaboration with Calvin Harris, have gotten a boost on TikTok.
As her music career has catapulted Lipa to global stardom, her profile in fashion has risen. She’s practically become synonymous with Versace, serving as an ambassador for the brand, starring in several campaigns and frequently wearing its styles on the red carpet, including archival looks. (She wore a 1992 Versace dress to the Grammys in 2022, a look previously seen on Cindy Crawford at the 1992 MTV VMAs.) She walked in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 show in Milan — and her music provided the show’s soundtrack. In 2021, she dropped the first of her “Flutur” collaboration with Puma, a collection of brightly-hued shoes, apparel and accessories, following it up with a second iteration in July 2022.
Lipa has also developed a reputation for her on-stage style, highlights of which include a Mugler catsuit covered in 120,000 crystals. She’s made waves in beauty as well: In 2017, she collaborated with Mac Cosmetics on a lip gloss, and Saint Laurent signed her as the face of the fragrance Libre.
