David Schulte
Former President, The Row
The former Oliver Peoples executive was appointed president of The Row in 2016 and lead the luxury label’s global expansion.

Appointed president of The Row in October 2016, David Schulte has extensive strategic operational, financial, marketing and retail experience in the luxury sector. He was president and chief executive of Oliver Peoples from 2006 to 2016 prior to joining The Row, which he led through its global expansion until October 2019, when he stepped down after 3 years.
Schulte worked on creative partnerships and displays a strong and sustainable approach to long-term development. He joined the label on the heels of several important steps in The Row's business trajectory, including the opening of its first New York retail location in May 2016 — joining its Los Angeles location — and the introduction of its first menswear collection in late October 2016.
The Row has established itself as one of New York's most high-profile young brands, quickly garnering a reputation for luxurious basics and a relaxed, effortless aesthetic. Since launching in 2006, the brand has expanded to include a range of ready-to-wear, eyewear, handbags and footwear in both womenswear and menswear, and, in addition to its two standalone stores, is stocked in exclusive retailers around the world.
Prior to Oliver Peoples, Schulte worked in private equity. He is based in New York.
