Creative Director, Conner Ives

With an eponymous label rooted in sustainability and upcycled luxury, this American designer gained viral recognition in 2025 with the ‘Protect the Dolls’ T-shirt, which raised over $600,000 for Trans Lifeline.

Conner Ives

Conner Ives is the founder and designer of his eponymous London-based label, celebrated for its Americana-inflected aesthetic and deep commitment to sustainability. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Ives launched his brand in 2021, with ready-to-wear collections that blend cultural commentary, nostalgic silhouettes and a circular approach to production.

Known for his inventive use of deadstock and vintage garments — about 75 percent of his materials are recycled — Ives rose to early prominence when Browns tapped him in 2018 to create reworked T-shirt dresses, a now-signature design characterised by artful ruching and graphic charm. His commitment to sustainability earned institutional recognition when a piece from his 2021 collection was featured in “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” at the Met’s Costume Institute, where he was praised for redefining American fashion with conscience and craft.

In 2025, Ives was awarded the prestigious BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, securing £150,000 and mentorship to expand his e-commerce and demi-couture business. That same year, he gained widespread cultural visibility with the “Protect the Dolls” T-shirt — an explicitly pro-trans design worn by Troye Sivan, Pedro Pascal and Haider Ackermann, which raised over $600,000 for Trans Lifeline.

Ives’s collections are available through his own site as well as global retailers like Net-a-Porter, Ssense and Browns. With sharp cultural awareness and a studio rooted in reuse, Conner Ives is emerging as a powerful voice for a new era of fashion — one that fuses storytelling, activism and circularity into garments.
