Clarissa Ward

Clarissa Ward is CNN’s chief international correspondent. She has spent nearly two decades reporting from international areas of conflict including Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan,Egypt and Ukraine for CNN and other news outlets. Ward is the recipient of multiple journalism recognitions, including nine Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards. She is the author of On All Fronts: The Education of a Journalist, a personal account of her career as aconflict reporter.
