Chu Wong is a Chinese model whose striking looks have crowned her a favourite among top-tier luxury brands. Wong’s portfolio includes covers for Vogue China, W Magazine China, Wallpaper China, T Magazine China, as well as an impressive ad campaign resumé. A friend of the house at Louis Vuitton, for whom she has fronted global campaigns several times, Wong was the first Chinese face to be featured in Hermès’ global campaigns for ready-to-wear and make-up. She also featured in Bottega Veneta’s global ready-to-wear campaign for several consecutive seasons.
Wong had her breakthrough in 2015, when she walked during Paris Fashion Week for the first time. By 2017, she was booking shows at all of the big four fashion weeks, for clients including Christian Dior, Kenzo, Prada, Hermès and Fendi. She was also nominated for Models.com’s model of the year award in the streetwear category and named on Forbes’ list of China’s top ten international supermodels the following year. In 2023, Wong launched her debut single, ‘Bad Kiss n Dreams’ under the stylised name Chu.W. The following year, she took part in Louis Vuitton’s 2024 Shanghai show as a musician.
