Catherine Bloom is a Los Angeles–based personal stylist and luxury fashion consultant, recently appointed as Nordstrom’s first-ever director of luxury styling. Known for her elite clientele and sharp intuition for high-net-worth taste, Bloom has reportedly generated over $300 million in sales over the course of her career.
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Bloom began her career at Neiman Marcus before founding her namesake consultancy, Catherine Bloom LLC. Her firm quickly gained traction for its discreet, high-touch services ranging from wardrobe editing and personal shopping to brand consulting and creative direction, catering to clients across entertainment, business and politics.
In 2025, Nordstrom tapped Bloom to lead its luxury styling efforts, unveiling the “Catherine Bloom for Nordstrom” experience at its Melrose Place Nordstrom Local. The appointment marked a strategic shift for the retailer, elevating personal shopping into a new luxury service channel.
