Cara Delevingne

The model turned actress first took the fashion industry by storm in her debut runway show for Burberry Autumn/Winter 2011. As well as being one of the most sought after models in the industry, featuring in a number of international Vogue covers, Cara Delevingne has also made waves in the television and film industry. 

Delevingne first began modelling at age 10, starring in an editorial shot by Bruce Weber for Vogue Italia and in campaigns for Cadbury chocolate in Britain, before being signed to Storm Model Management at 15-years-old by owner Sarah Doukas . Prior to landing the Burberry campaign, the aspiring model worked on catalogue shoots for Asos while studying drama at Bedales, an exclusive private school in Hampshire.

The British model has gone on to work with the world’s biggest fashion brands, from Chanel to Dior, garnering a dedicated following and attention from mainstream press outside the fashion industry. 

With over 44 million followers on Instagram and nearly 10 million followers on Twitter — the 27-year-old model has built a viable commercial brand around herself, which in turn has helped her secure contracts with labels keen to capitalise on her growing prominence. In February 2013, Delevingne registered a trademark for her name and established a business under Cara&Co. 

Keen to pursue a career in acting, Delevingne began her foray into films with parts in the 2011 production of “Anna Karenina” alongside Keira Knightley and 2014's “The Face of an Angel,” before landing one of her first leading roles in the Hollywood adaptation of John Green novel "Paper Towns." In April 2015, Delevingne announced she would be quitting modelling to focus on films and starred alongside Ben Affleck and Margot Robbie in “Suicide Squad.” She has since gone on to star in Luc Besson’s “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” and Amazon Prime Video’s fantasy TV Series Carnival Row co-starring Orlando Bloom. 

Despite taking a step back from modeling full-time, Delevingne has featured on the covers of Glamour, British GQ, Vogue Paris and Elle, and in February 2018 made a triumphant return to the runway for Christopher Bailey 's last collection for Burberry, a celebration of LGBT youth. In 2019, she walked a snow covered runway for the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2019 collection in the Grand Palais in Paris alongside her fellow models to pay tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld . She also joined forces later that year with Kate Moss , actress Diane Kruger and several other celebrities and launched “A Tribute to Karl: The White Shirt Project” — a series of seven different T-shirts that were replicated 77 times and sold for €777. The proceeds were donated to the Sauver la Vie, a charity which funds medical research at the Paris Descartes University.

Delevingne was awarded Model of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards in both 2012 and 2014 and received the “AnTEENcipated” Movie Actress award at the Teen Choice Awards in 2016 for her role in Suicide Sqaud. Originally based in London, she has reportedly moved to live in LA with her partner, fellow actress, former Pretty Little Liars star and model Ashley Benson.
