Camille Charrière
Blogger, Camille Over the Rainbow
The half-French, half-English blogger is known for her sharp and irreverent take on fashion and her collaborations with brands including Chloé, Mango and Harrods.

Camille Charrière is one of the fashion industry’s leading influencers, known for her sharp and irreverent take on the role of fashion bloggers today, which has seen her collaborate with brands like Chloé, Mango, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger and Harrods.
Born to an English mother and a French father, Charrière grew up in Paris in a house full of intellectuals, where a career in the creative industry wasn’t encouraged. After completing bachelor and master’s degrees in law from Paris Nanterre University, she moved to London to pursue a career in law and finance. However, her position at a hedge fund was short-lived as she quit in 2010 to take the plunge into fashion.
Her fashion blog, Camille Over the Rainbow – the parallel universe she used to escape her city job – served as a digital CV for a fashion writing role at Net-a-Porter, and later Matchesfashion.com. She quickly garnered attention for an effortless French style that mixes emerging designers and luxury fashion, as well as her candour about the realities of blogging.
As part of the generation of creatives who don’t belong to a particular career, instead balancing diverse roles, she is open about the need to strike a balance between staying true to herself and attaining commercial success. Charrière advocates for disclosure of paid content and brand partnerships.
Charrière is a regular fixture on the fashion week circuit, and has been featured in publications including Vogue, ELLE, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. She has also starred in Reformation’s “Almost French” collection campaign, and was tapped by Mango as one of the brand’s #MangoGirls.
Charrière also co-hosts the podcast Fashion: No Filter, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at fundamental issues in fashion, featuring interviews with Margaret Zhang and Susan Sarandon.
