Black Coffee is an acclaimed multidisciplinary, electronic music artist. Also known as Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, this South African DJ’s sound can be categorised by its blend of traditional African rhythms, jazz, and the evolving house music movement in South Africa. Black Coffee is globally recognised and has collaborated with a number of artists including Pharrell, Drake, and Alicia Keys, he also sold out Madison Square Garden in 2023, and won a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2022. The DJ founded his own foundation, which provides education and empowerment for underprivileged youth in South Africa. Black Coffee is committed to using his platform to advocate for change in his native country and taking South African culture global.
