Ben Grimes
Casting Agent
The model-turned-casting agent challenges the industry’s established norms by avoiding typecasting.

Benoit (Ben) Grimes came from a modelling background before setting up a casting agency that helps brands forego typecasting by hand selecting and mixing a wide cross-section of models and streetcasting for the likes of Vogue and Valentino.
The Anglo-French casting director offers full-scale casting services for advertising, editorials, street casting and shows. Having walked for Chanel and Marc Jacobs and shot in Burberry campaigns in the early noughts, Grimes' healthy obsession with her fellow models made a path into casting a logical step. Her love for her former colleagues means she takes a more character based approach when it comes to casting “regular” models, and complements this regularly with people she finds on the streets.
Grimes has cast for various international editions of Vogue, WSJ Magazine, T: The New York Times Magazine, Interview and Dazed, among others. She has also worked with brands including Chloé, Valentino, Adidas and Nike, and collaborated with photographers such as Ethan James Green , Harley Weir and Juergen Teller .
Grimes speaks fluent French and is based in London, United Kingdom.
