The industry's go-to casting director selects faces of the moment for clients like Prada and Balenciaga.

Having begun her career in fashion working as a production assistant for Bruce Weber, Ashley Brokaw is now considered one of the industry's top casting directors. Since launching her own agency in New York in 2005, Brokaw has built up an extensive client list that includes Prada, Loewe, Zara, Proenza Schouler, Coach, Miu Miu, The Row, Tory Burch and Raf Simons , casting for shows in London, Milan and Paris. She was also a long-time collaborator with Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquière, who has called her "a fearless hunter."
Working regularly alongside photographers such as Steven Meisel , David Sims and Patrick Demarchelier, Brokaw has collaborated on a number of editorials for fashion publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Interview and, and has also sourced talent for advertising campaigns, such as Eva Mendes for Calvin Klein and Amber Valetta for Coach.
“She has a foresight. She has a stamp of approval,” Designer Jonathan Anderson has said to T Magazine. “She finds faces, and she takes risks on faces. All the faces that we see today are passed through Ashley.”
In early 2012 Brokaw was appointed as casting director for the Prada and Miu Miu brands, succeeding the brands' longstanding collaboration with Russell Marsh . Brokaw has since overseen the brand's catwalk shows and advertising campaigns.
Brokaw holds a degree in International Law from Georgetown.
