Anna Ewers
Model
The Pirelli Calendar star was discovered by Alexander Wang and has appeared on covers including Vogue Paris, Vogue Italia and W.

The German model was discovered by Alexander Wang , who excitedly sent a photograph of her that he had found on a blog to his casting director Anita Bitton who told him immediately to find her.
"When I met Anna, at first she was very timid," Wang later told American Harper’s Bazaar. "But there was something in her posture and in her look that I immediately felt drawn to. She is quietly confident and kind of nonchalant and unfussy about her sexuality and her beauty." These qualities made Ewers a perfect match for the designer’s “off-duty model” aesthetic. Ewers is now widely considered Wang’s primary muse.
In December 2014, she starred in the controversial Denim X Alexander Wang campaign, shot by Steven Klein . She has gone on to be represented by modelling agencies in almost ten countries, including Storm in the UK and Women Management in Paris, New York and Milan. While her figure — slender with the addition of curves — is technically unconventional for a model, Ewers, with her toothy smile, blonde locks and captivating sensuality, is frequently likened to the French model and sex symbol, Brigitte Bardot.
The model has featured in more than 100 editorials, campaigns and lookbooks, and also starred on the covers of i-D, Numéro, W Magazine, numerous Vogue editions including Vogue Paris and Vogue Italia. Today, she has walked the runway for over 60 designers including Balenciaga, Balmain, Calvin Klein , Chanel, Dior, Donna Karan , Fendi, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and Prada. In 2015, Ewers was named model of the year, and was chosen by Steven Meisel for the 2015 Pirelli Calendar, alongside Adriana Lima and Raquel Zimmerman.
