Ammy Drammeh is a makeup artist and global makeup creative partner at Chanel. As a member of Chanel's Cometes Collective, which taps emerging talents shaping the future of beauty as collaborators, Drammeh is helping to redefine the future of luxury beauty through her unique point of view, which tends toward playfulness and bold colours.
Barcelona-born Drammeh’s early work as a makeup artist in London quickly caught the attention of leading fashion houses and publications. Inspired, first, by early 1990s R&B and hip-hop videos featuring musicians like Aaliyah and TLC — she became known for combining vibrant hues and unconventional textures — which have helped make her one of the most sought-after makeup artists in the fashion industry today.
Drammeh was appointed to Chanel’s Cometes Collective in 2022. Outside the brand, she has continued to build her sphere of influence, working on projects including the Burberry Resort 2025 lookbook, the Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2024 show, and campaigns for brands including Ganni and Burberry. Her work is helping popularise a broader cultural narrative that celebrates diversity and individuality in beauty on a global scale.
