Alia Bhatt is an award-winning actor, Gucci’s first Indian global ambassador, and the founder of Ed-a-Mamma, a children’s and maternity-wear label. In 2023, the same year that Gucci tapped the Bollywood star, Reliance Retail Ventures acquired a majority stake in her label, citing the appeal of its ethically sourced materials and eco-conscious production processes. A year later, L'Oréal Paris named her as its global ambassador. Bhatt has graced the cover of Vogue India on several occasions, secured covers for other Asian editions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and appeared at the Met Gala. By 2024, she had amassed an Instagram following of more than 85 million.

Mumbai-born Bhatt began appearing in films as a child and became famous for portraying female characters in difficult circumstances. Her breakthrough came in 2014 with the road drama "Highway", for which she won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. This was followed by the likes of "Udta Punjab", "Raazi", "Gully Boy" and "Gangubai Kathiawadi," the last of which earned her a National Film Award for Best Actress. Some of her greatest commercial triumphs include "Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva" and rom-com "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani". In 2023, she made her Hollywood debut, starring in Netflix’s film "Heart of Stone". "Darlings," her debut as producer through her Eternal Sunshine Productions, was also a hit on Netflix. Bhatt has been awarded the Time100 Impact Award and named one of Time’s 100 most influential people of the year.
