Alex Consani

Alex Consani is a model and digital creator known for her runway presence, sharp humour and cultural impact. She is one of fashion’s breakout stars, combining a strong editorial résumé with a singular online voice — and is among the most prominent transgender models of her generation.

Born in 2003 in Petaluma, California, Consani began modeling at age 12, becoming the youngest transgender model at the time. By 16, she had signed with IMG Models and relocated to New York. Alongside her modeling career, she gained a major online following on TikTok as @captincroook, where her absurdist humor and irreverent tone quickly made her a standout voice, now followed by over 3 million users.

Consani’s fashion rise has been rapid. She debuted for Tom Ford in 2021 and has since walked for Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Versace, Stella McCartney, Mugler, Balmain and more. In Autumn/Winter 2025 alone, she appeared on 17 runways, including Coach, Michael Kors and Tory Burch. She has starred in major campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier x KNWLS, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger and Jacquemus.

In October 2024, she made history as one of the first transgender women to walk in the revived Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Two months later, she became the first openly trans recipient of “Model of the Year” at the Fashion Awards in London. Her pop culture presence has expanded as well, with appearances in music videos for JT and Charli XCX in 2024, and a Met Gala debut in May 2025.
