Thierry Marty will take on the newly created position to oversee the French luxury group’s development in markets including Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, effective Oct. 1. 

Marty will be based in Seoul and report to Kering’s Group Managing Director, Jean-François Palus. He has over two decades of experience in Asia’s luxury markets and held general management roles at LVMH-owned brands like Fendi, Celine and Louis Vuitton.
