Vestiaire Collective co-founder, Fanny Moizant, on Monday announced that she would be leaving the business after 16 years.
Moizant, who co-founded the online luxury resale platform with Sophie Hersan and Sébastien Fabre in 2009 and served as its president, alluded to being forced out of the company.
“This was not a decision I initiated, nor one I expected, but I accept that it marks the end of an extraordinary chapter,” Moizant wrote on LinkedIn. “I don’t know exactly what comes next yet, but I move forward with energy, resilience, and fire in my belly.”
Moizant’s departure comes amid a broader shakeup at Vestiaire Collective. In October, the company’s chief executive, Max Bittner, left the business after seven years. He was replaced by Bernard Osta, who previously served as Vestiaire Collective’s finance and strategy chief.
