As part of its commitment, the mass retailer is pledging to add products across categories from over 500 Black-owned businesses and spend more to support other Black-owned businesses, such as marketing agencies and construction companies. Target has also rolled out a new list of resources, including a new programme called Forward Founders established with early-stage start-ups in mind, aimed at helping Black-owned vendors successfully scale.
