JD Sports To Acquire American Retailer DTLR Villa

The British sportswear retailer has reached a conditional agreement to acquire the American company for a cash consideration of $495 million.

DTLR currently operates 247 stores across 19 states in the north and east of the US. The deal will further boost JD Sports’ position in the US, following its acquisition of Shoe Palace in December.
