Chinese conglomerate Youngor Group has acquired French luxury childrenswear label Bonpoint from private investment firm EPI for an undisclosed sum.

EPI acquired the brand in 2007, quadrupling its revenue and expanding internationally over the last 17 years. International sales now account for 80 percent of the company’s revenue.

Youngor’s strong expertise in the Asian will help the company continue its development under new ownership, EPI chairman Cristofer Descours said in a note to employees reviewed by BoF.
