Abercrombie Chairman Says Company Suspended Active CEO Search

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Executive Chairman Arthur Martinez said the teen-clothing retailer, which hasn’t had a chief executive officer for more than a year, is no longer actively searching for a CEO.

NEW YORK, United States — Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Executive Chairman Arthur Martinez said the teen-clothing retailer, which hasn't had a chief executive officer for more than a year, is no longer actively searching for a CEO.

“Given our encouraging performance, the board believes we’re on the right track and we intend to continue with the current governance structure,” Martinez said in a statement to Bloomberg. "We are not actively conducting a search for a CEO at this time."
