Mel Ottenberg Named Editor in Chief of Interview Magazine

The creative director of the independent publication’s first issue as editor in chief will be the October edition. He succeeds Nick Haramis in the top role. Ottenberg, known for styling Rihanna and other celebrities, joined Interview in May 2018, just as Interview filed for bankruptcy and relaunched under undisclosed investors.

“As editor in chief, my vibe will be about rapid change and taking chances,” he said in an interview with the New York Times.
