British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful confirmed via a post on the magazine’s Instagram account that  the March 2024 issue will be his last issue at the helm of the publication.

In the post, Enninful teased the possible themes of his last seven issues at the magazine. “With my final issues, I’m in planning mode for sure with lots on my mind. The power of brilliant global change makers! The unbeatable creativity of the UK! And above all, fashion!”

The magazine first announced Enninful’s departure in June, adding that the editor-in-chief will transition to a global advisory role at Vogue.

In 2017, Enninful made history when he became Vogue’s first Black editor-in-chief. The 51-year-old has an extensive resume, having worked with publications like Vogue Italia, i-D, and of course, British Vogue.
