The American Vogue editor will move to London to lead the British Condé Nast magazine. Bowles said in an Instagram post announcing the news that he will retain his title as global editor-at-large at Vogue, where he has worked since 1992.

World of Interiors was founded by Min Hogg in 1981 and has a small but dedicated following. It is known for eschewing celebrities and digital media. In his Instagram post, Bowles said he will “work with the team to bring the magazine’s unique world of inspiration to new on-line, video and digital platforms.” He will take up the role in January when current editor Rupert Thomas will step down after 22 years.
