Edward Enninful, former European editorial director of Vogue and editor-in-chief of British Vogue, is launching EE72, a media and entertainment company. Based in New York with an office in London, EE72 will develop and produce content, experiences and products in partnership with companies and creators. Enninful will serve as chief creative officer, while his sister Akua Enninful, a talent agent, will be chief executive.

“EE72 represents a natural progression of the foundation I’ve built my career on,” said Enninful. “We’re creating a space where creativity transcends boundaries, where diverse voices don’t just exist—they lead. Our mission is to reshape how we see and understand each other, building bridges across cultures and communities.”

Enninful left his post at British Vogue — where he made history as the title’s first Black editor-in-chief — in 2024. During his tenure, Enninful energised the magazine with a zeitgeisty mix of fashion, cultural and political coverage that drove conversation and commercial traction. Many of his covers featured powerful women from outside of the industry, including Oprah Winfrey, Malala Yousafzai and Sinéad Burke; his last issue was a fashion tour-de-force, featuring 40 former Vogue cover stars together.
