Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
Companies will be able to simulate and confidentially record environmentally-sensitive decisions for their Paris Fashion Week events through the use of a new platform commissioned by the event’s FHCM organising body from consultancy PwC.
The aim is for the tool to provide a comprehensive view of a fashion show and designer collection’s impact on climate and the environment, including from transportation, servers for video streaming, materials, or set design.
While individual brands’ results will remain private, FHCM says it will use the system to report aggregated information on Paris Fashion Week’s environmental impact going forward.
